The Old School House is an 18th-century building located on Reading Road in Sherfield on Loddon. It stands two storeys high and features six upper windows. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a catslide at the rear that includes a small hipped dormer. The building has brick dentil eaves and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. There are seven original narrow openings and three later wider openings. The first floor has three flush blue header bands, and there is a blue band above the cambered openings on the ground floor. The windows have been replaced with later casements.
