Description

Nos 165 and 166 Vyne Road are a pair of estate cottages built in the mid-19th century, designed in a 'Tudor' style, with modern side extensions. The cottages are two storeys tall and feature four windows. They have a tiled roof with brick dentil eaves and a central stack that has coupled diagonal flues. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with Dutch flat arches and stone cills. The windows are casements. There are two gabled brick porches, each with recessed side panels that display herring-bone brickwork. The lower roofing above the later side extensions is half-hipped.
