Description

Stocks Farm Cottages comprise a terrace of three cottages located on The Street, Bramley. The core of the building dates to the 18th century, with significant remodelling occurring around the early 19th century and further extensions added in the late 19th century. The cottages are constructed of red brick with a clay tile roof featuring gabled ends. Brick stacks mark both axial and gable ends.

The plan consists of a row of three cottages, each arranged with rooms on either side of a central entrance. The first floor was raised or rebuilt in the early 19th century. Large, gable-ended wings were incorporated at the rear in the late 19th century.

The north-west front, featuring six windows, displays 2 and 3-light casement windows with glazing bars. The ground-floor windows are topped with cambered brick arches. Plank doors are also set within cambered brick arches. Weatherboarded outshuts project at each end of the terrace. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
