Description

Forge House is located at The Forge, adjoining Forge House on East Cliff. It is a similar cottage to Nos 1 to 4 Tower Place across the street, featuring a Victorian addition on each side. The southeast addition houses the actual forge, while the northwest addition connects the house to the Landgate. There are six steps leading up to the front door, which is accompanied by an iron balustrade. Forge House, along with Nos 1 to 4, The Forge, and The Forge House, forms a group with the south side of The Landgate and Nos 1 and 2 The Landgate.
