Description

Tower Place is a small terrace of 18th century cottages located on the west side of East Cliff. The cottages are two storeys high, each with one window. They are constructed of red brick and feature tiled roofs. The first floor has sliding windows, while Nos 3 and 4 have a later addition of a bay window with five narrow lights on the ground floor. The doorways are arranged in pairs and are adorned with pilasters and small flat hoods. Tower Place, along with The Forge and Forge House, forms a group with the south side of the Landgate and Nos 1 and 2 Landgate.
