Description

The steps and entrance to the churchyard, together with the wall extending southwest as far as the gatepiers of Brightling Park, date to the 18th and early 19th centuries. They are constructed of ashlar. The steps consist of nine risers flanked by square pillars at the lower level, with a double pair of pillars at the upper level, connected by a wall. A stone wall continues to the southwest, linking up with the gatepiers of Brightling Park.
