Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of eight two-storey cottages, numbered 2 to 16, on The Ropewalk. Each cottage has one window. The buildings feature tiled roofs and tile hanging to the upper storey, with brick on the lower storey. They have sash windows with original glazing bars. The doorways are each sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. These cottages are included on the heritage register for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings, together with Willow Cottage.
