Description

This is a late 18th century, early 19th century house located on West Street. The southern section of the facade is built of painted brick. The northern part of the facade was altered in 1929 by Ernest George Trobridge, who added mock timber framing to the first floor and a brick facade to the ground floor. The roof is tiled. The house has two storeys and three bays. A carriageway arch is situated on the southern side, with a casement window above. A projecting reproduction oriel window is also found on the first floor. The building is part of a group of listed properties which includes Nos 1 and 2 Norman House, The Tower House, Lamb House, Nos 13 to 17 (consec), and No 1 Mermaid Street.
