Description

Langford House, located at 85 High Street, dates from the 18th century. This two-storey building features four windows and is constructed of red brick. It has an eaves cornice adorned with modillions and a tiled roof. A curved bay at the front contains three windows, although the ground floor windows in this bay are modern replacements. The other windows retain their original glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a porch supported by Doric columns and topped with a flat entablature. The doorway is framed with fluted detailing, featuring a rectangular fanlight above a six-panelled moulded door.
