Description

Pound House is a separate building from Pound Cottage, which was previously listed as Pound House. It has an L-shaped design and was once an oasthouse, although it may not have originally been constructed for that purpose. Part of the structure dates back to the 17th century and features a timber frame with plaster infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick. The building has undergone alterations and expansions in brick at later dates and has a tiled roof. The original rectangular oasthouse roof has been truncated due to the conversion of the building into a dwelling. It has casement windows and is two storeys high with three windows.
