Description
Pound House, including the adjoining outbuilding to the west, is a house dating from around the 17th century with later alterations. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends, while the west end has a lower roof covered in asbestos. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The windows are three and four-light ovolo moulded stone mullion windows with hood moulds and leaded panes. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a small two-light chamfered stone window. A plank door is located to the left of centre. The east gable end has a rendered chimney stack, and there is a lean-to at the east end. The outbuilding at the west end contains an old cider press.
