Description

The Village School and Schoolmaster's House is a mid-19th century L-shaped building located on Fairlight Road. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with casement windows. The southeast wing serves as the school and is a single storey with two windows and two gables. The northwest wing is the schoolmaster's house, which has two storeys and also contains two windows. There is an early 19th century cottage to the southwest that is not listed, but the entire group is included for its collective historical value.
