Description

Field Cottage is a 17th-century long, low building with one storey and an attic. It features a red tile roof and has three dormers, each with a tile roof. The exterior is made of knapped flint with brick rustication around the windows. The windows have been replaced with modern casements. The entrance has a stone rusticated door architrave with a four-centred arch and a label, leading up to a projecting porch with steps. The house is supported by two buttresses and has three tall chimney stacks. Additionally, one side of the house is tile hung.
