Description

Little Chesters is a 17th-century building featuring one storey and an attic. It has a long, narrow shape with a red tile roof that is gabled at both ends. On the south side, there are four gabled dormers, while the north side has three, each with painted brickwork above the windows, which have cills positioned at eaves level. The building displays exposed timber-framing on both long sides, which is complete in the upper part but only partially remains at the ground floor. The infilling and other walling are made of painted brickwork. The windows have been replaced with modern casements that are irregular in shape and feature square-leaded panes. Additionally, there is a modern gabled porch and a brick gable on the east side.
