Description

The Parish Church of St Peter, dating from 1607, is located on Blatchington Hill. The thickness of part of the nave indicates a possible Norman origin, although no physical traces remain. The church features a round-headed priest's doorway from around 1200 and a 13th-century tower topped with a shingled broach spire. Additionally, there are lancet windows in the chancel.
