Description
The Old Brewery, located to the rear of 33 High Street, is a warehouse dating to circa 1810. It is constructed of brick with blue headers, and has a slate hipped roof. Originally, the roof had a twin bracketed cornice; this has now been replaced with a plain eaves soffit. The building is three storeys high, with a central doorway on each floor, formerly featuring a pulley gibbet above. It has two sash windows with glazing bars on either side of the centre doors, all with segmental arches. The building is part of a group, which includes all other listed buildings along High Street up to and including number 118.
