Description

30 High Street is a building with origins dating back to the 16th or 17th century, although it has been extensively modernised. It features a timber frame structure and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The building is one window wide, with a modern bay and door on the ground floor. The first floor has been recently weatherboarded over stucco, and the roof is covered with tiles, topped by a modern gabled dormer. At the rear, there is a tile-hung gable end with a sash window that includes glazing bars. Inside, the timber framing is exposed. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, which includes all properties up to and including No 118.
