Description

The stables immediately south-west of Torfield Cottage date from the 18th century and are two storeys tall. The ground floor is constructed of stone, with later brick added to the east end, while the first floor is tile-hung. The building features a tiled hipped roof. On the ground floor, there are two semi-circular windows and a segmental-headed window in between, along with a carriage door on the right. The east end wall has modern garage doors. The first floor includes two glazed loft doors, a two-light casement window with glazing bars in between, and a long window with glazing bars, partly featuring fixed lights and a casement.
