Description

The Post Office in Willingdon is probably from the early 19th century. It is constructed of flint with a slate roof featuring a red tile ridge. The building has brick rusticated quoins and is painted white. It stands two storeys tall and has two windows with flat arches and casement windows. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century rectangular shop bays on either side of a low doorway that has a cambered arch. This building is part of a group that includes Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, Pelham Cottage, and Nos 122, 124, 126, and 1-4 Malthouse Cottages.
