Description

Pelham Cottage, located next door to the Post Office on Wish Hill in Willingdon, is reputed to be one of the oldest houses in the village and was formerly a bakehouse. The building is constructed of flint and features a hipped tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has two windows with flat arched casements. The ground floor windows are modern and have brick architraves. The cottage also has red brick rusticated quoins. The rear of the building has been much altered, with the roof extending over a projecting addition. Pelham Cottage is included in a group listing with Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, the Post Office, Nos 122, 124, and 126, and Nos 1-4 Malthouse Cottages.
