Description
These three cottages, located at 122, 124, and 126 Wish Hill in Willingdon, likely date to the 18th century. They have a hipped tile roof and are constructed of flint. The cottages are two storeys high with a symmetrical facade of three windows. These windows have flat arches and modern casement windows set within brick rusticated architraves. The ground floor features three modern “Tudor” style doors, also with cambered arches and brick rusticated architraves. There are three cambered windows on the ground floor, fitted with modern tile sills and brick architraves. Brick quoins are also visible. The property was formerly listed under the names "Premises occupied by F G French, The Crystal Shop, 'Miria'," and "The Malt House." These cottages are part of a group that includes Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, the Post Office, Pelham Cottage, numbers 122, 124, and 126, and numbers 1-4 Malthouse Cottages.
