Description

The Robert Palmer Cottages are 19th-century almshouses built in 1850. They are a single storey with an attic, constructed of brick and topped with a tiled roof. The building features a projecting central gabled entrance, which is flanked by three bays of gabled dormers above four-light stone mullioned windows. There are six tall brick chimneys positioned centrally along the ridge, each with diagonal shafts. A small 20th-century extension has been added to the rear.
