Description

Lilac Cottage is a former service wing of The Grove, along with Roxburgh and Corner Cottage. It dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and is now a house. The building is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with an old tile roof. It features a lattice porch with a concave lead roof and small windows to the right. To the left of the porch is a four-light leaded casement window. On the first floor, there are three-light vertical sliding sash windows to the left and a two-light casement window above the porch.
