Description

A row of twelve cottages built in the early 19th century, with a late 20th-century extension to one end. The cottages are constructed of brick with hipped roofs covered in slate. They are arranged in a long rectangular plan, with a two-storey design. There are nine chimneys, each topped with a clay pot. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and segmental arches over the ground floor openings. The north-west facing front is regular in appearance, with fourteen bays including two bays forming the 20th-century extension built in a matching style. Each cottage has a door with a four-panel design, and the entrances are sheltered by open gabled porches with tile roofs.
