Description

The barn at Grove Farm, located approximately 20 metres northeast of Grove Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame construction, is weatherboarded, and has an old tiled gabled roof. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of seven framed bays, with a gabled midstrey and a later lean-to cart shed on the southwest side. Inside, there are queen post roof trusses and two sets of butt purlins, with later rafters added over the midstrey.
