Cottage, now house. Mid C16, altered and extended C19 and mid C20. Part timber frame with painted brick, part painted brick. Old tile gabled roofs. L-plan 3x3 framed bays, extension on north. 2 storeys. 4 chimneys with offset heads and clay pots. Casement windows, mostly C19 with glazing bars. Garden (south) front: Chimney on each gable end and one to ridge, Timber frame exposed, with some later timbers. 5 windows on first floor. 4 windows on ground floor, that on the left without glazing bars. Plank door in centre, now disused. North front: Timber frame exposed. One small window on first floor. Two, 3-light window on ground floor. Wing at right angles to this projecting northwards has one bay of timber frame visible on left with a 2-light window on each floor. To right of this are two C20, 4-light oriel windows on the first floor; small windows on left of these. C20 plain entrance door with small glazed panel; 2-light window on left of door; two C20 windows to right of door. Interior: timber frame partly exposed. Plain, large section floor joists in one framed bay, other joists are chamfered with shield stops. The principal Beam in this bay has similar chamfers and stops, and has a large shaped bracket at each end. Inglenook chimney with large oak lintel with carving on face, in drawing room.
