Description

Queen Anne's Cottage is an early 19th-century building that underwent recasing and remodelling of a structure dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. It is two storeys high, constructed of painted brick, and features a long front with a hipped old tile roof. The building has brick dentil eaves and a cornice with lion head studs. On the first floor, there are four small paired casement windows, mostly made of wood, with some being leaded and fitted with louvred shutters. The ground floor has three casement windows. A porch with pilaster piers leads to a glazed and panelled door, which is flanked by sidelights. The interior may also be of interest.
