Description
The brewhouse, located approximately 10 metres south-east of The George Inn, is a late 18th-century building that now serves as general storage. It is constructed of brick, which was formerly tuck-pointed on the north-west front, and features an old tile hipped roof. The structure has a rectangular plan with door and window openings only on the north-east front, which faces The Green. It stands two storeys high and has dentilled brick eaves. The symmetrical front includes a central 2-light casement window on the first floor, flanked by two 3-light casements on the ground floor, all featuring glazing bars and segmental-arched heads. A wide, 6-panel door is located in the centre, also with a similar head. Inside, there are plain ladder stairs leading to the first floor, and the roof timbers are exposed, showcasing a king post roof. This building is included for its group value.
