Description
Dial House is a late 18th-century building located at No. 6 Park Street. It is three storeys high, with an attic and cellar, constructed of red brick on a projecting rendered plinth. The building features a parapet with stone coping and an old tile mansard roof. There are two dormers with small moulded cornices, three windows on the upper floors, and two windows on the ground floor. To the right, there is a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above, which has a segmental and radiating pattern in wood. The door is set back in panelled reveals. The doorcase is similar to that of No. 4 Park Street. Additionally, there are two windows in the cellar. Dial House, along with Nos 4 and 5 Park Street, forms a symmetrical group and retains its original external condition, apart from the bay window in No. 5. The surrounding buildings, including Park Street Lodge and others, contribute to the overall character of the area.
