Description

The Archway to the Royal Mews is a dressed Bath stone gateway, dating from around 1840 and designed by Blore. It features piers topped with truncated steeple caps that are surmounted by lamps. The gates are adorned with large spearhead rails. This archway is part of a group that includes Park Street Lodge, Nos. 2 to 16 (consecutive), Nos. 25 to 28 (local list only), the entrance to Black Lion Yard, Nos. 20 to 24 (consecutive), and Cambridge Lodge, Cambridge Gate, and Park Street Gate.
