Description
Circa 1820-30, Park Street Lodge is a two-story stock brick lodge with Bath stone dressings. It has two windows, the right one featuring a projecting ashlar porch with a four-centred arch and parapet. The windows are stone mullioned, two-light casements. A carved stone string sits below a shallow panelled stone parapet with crow steps above the break in the front, with gabled parapet ends. Octagonal stone caps adorn the chimneys. The lodge is part of a group including Park Street Lodge, Nos 2 to 16 (consecutive), Nos 25 to 28 (local list only), the entrance to Black Lion Yard, Nos 20 to 24 (consecutive), an archway to the Royal Mews, Nos 29 to 35 (consecutive), Cambridge Lodge, Cambridge Gate and Park Street Gate.
