Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into a shop on the ground floor and an upper maisonette. It is constructed of brown brick and stands three storeys high. The front elevation has three double-hung sash windows to each floor, set within reveals with sills and flat arches. The windows retain sliding shutters. A 19th-century shop front occupies the ground floor. The building is topped with a parapet, and the windows contain original glazing bars. Numbers 17 to 33 High Street form a notable group.
