Description

This is a late 18th-century building on the north-west side of High Street, Da tch et, which has been significantly altered since its original construction. It is two storeys high with an attic, and has a square mansard roof covered in plain tiles with a central chimney. The exterior is red brick with a parapet and stone coping. There are six windows on the first floor, each a double-hung sash window with original glazing bars. Early 20th-century shop fronts have been inserted at ground level, and a balustraded balcony runs above. The interior features an 18th-century staircase with turned balusters, and an early 19th-century marble fireplace surround.
