Description
The Morning Star Public House is a late 18th century building located on the south side of The Green in Datchet. It is constructed of red brick with a cement plinth and features a mansard slate roof, rising to two storeys. The façade includes three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals, complete with cills and flat arches. There is a central dummy window on the first floor. The entrance is highlighted by a 19th-century central gabled hood. Additional architectural details include a brick cornice and a central pediment with a lunette, as well as two box dormers.
