Description

The barn at Applehouse Farm, located approximately 30 metres southeast of the farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, with an old tile gabled roof and a hipped midstrey, which includes original doors. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of five framed bays, two aisles, and a hipped midstrey on the west side. Inside, there are queen post roof trusses with clasped purlins and jowled posts.
