Description

Windsor Bridge, built in 1823, is a cast iron bridge featuring three spans and rusticated ashlar pointed cutwaters. It has segmental arches with openwork spandrels and the fronts of the piers are made of cast iron with ornamental details. The bridge is adorned with a cast iron trellis balustrade and original lampposts, and it has ashlar abutments. This bridge connects Windsor and Eton and is a prominent feature in views of Windsor Castle.
