Description

The George Inn is a public house located on the west side of High Street. The front of the building dates from the 19th century, while the L-shaped back section, which faces the yard and opens onto Brocas Street, originates from the 17th century. The 17th-century part is now covered in stucco and features two storeys, two double-hung sash windows, and a casement window, all within their respective surrounds. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles.
