Description
Nos 25 and 26 on High Street are early to mid 20th century buildings designed to resemble 18th century architecture. They feature four storeys of red brick above a stone ground floor. The left side has a Doric bank front, while a 19th century shop is located on the right. The facade is treated as a single block above the ground floor, with five windows on the first floor that have architraves and cornices. There are also sill bands and a moulded main cornice. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 4, 4a, 5 to 9, 9A, 10 to 26, the Dairy Pavilion in the garden of No 7, and Mistress Pages House.
