Description
Old Bank House, also known as the Brewery Office, is a late 18th century to early 19th century three-storey building made of yellow stock brick. It features a stone plinth and stone sill courses. The building has a moulded bracketed stone cornice with a pediment above the central three bays, which slightly project. There are seven windows on the upper floors and six on the ground floor, all of which are recessed glazing bar sashes with flat gauged arches. The second-floor windows have Venetian shutters. The central entrance door consists of eight fielded panels and is framed by a stone Doric surround with three-quarter columns, an entablature, and a pediment. To the left of the main door, there is a secondary six-panel door set in an arched opening, which has a similar surround and is part of a one-storey extension.
