Description

Poplar Cottage is a 17th-century cottage and subsequent alterations. It is constructed of brick and timber framing with brick infill. The roof is thatched and hipped, with a half-hip on the left side. A stack is positioned off-centre to the left. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and the roof slopes upwards over the attic window. There are two windows to the left of the front door, and a window and door to the right. An attic window is located to the left. All windows are casements, incorporating leaded lights in some cases.
