Description

Fir Tree Cottage is a 17th century cottage that has undergone later alterations. It features a combination of brick and timber framing with brick nogging, topped by a tiled and thatched roof. The cottage has two stacks, one located on the ridge above the door to the right and another behind the ridge to the left. The front of the building is irregular, with seven windows, all of which are casements. There are three eyebrow semi-dormers and one framed bay, with half bays on either side. The structure includes angled braces and has a door with a gabled porch situated to the left of the first window from the right.
