Description

This milestone, located on the west side of Reading Road in Streatley, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of white painted stone with black lettering and features a semi-circular section with a chamfered top. The top of the milestone is inscribed with "OXFORD 19," while the side displays the distances to "WALLINGFORD 6" and "READING 9."
