Description

Weston Mill, now a house, was built in the 18th century, with alterations in the 20th century. It is a brick and painted weatherboard structure with plain tiled roofs, arranged in a long rectangular plan with a single-story wing set at a right angle. The building has a two-story and attic section with a single-story wing. It features stacks on the north-east, south-west, and centre of the north roof. The north elevation incorporates a single-story wing on the left with a horizontal sliding sash and boarded door. The right side has a two-story gable with an English bond brick base. The west elevation features grey header bond brickwork at the base with three cambered headed casements on the ground floor and one casement on the first floor, with a weatherboard upper section above the brickwork. A stable-type door and a casement are located to the left, above the arch of the mill race. Further casements are above, leading to a single-story wing with a half-hip roof and a horizontal sliding sash window. Internally, the original mill wheel and some gearing remain in place.
