Description

The Rectory is a large house built in the late 18th century. It features a hipped slate roof and brick walls with stucco quoins. The south block has three bays of vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals. There is a half-glazed central door on the east side, topped by a rectangular fanlight with interlacing circles in stone. A Greek Doric porch sits at the top of a flight of stone steps, which are accompanied by cast iron railings leading up to the first and principal floor. To the north, there is a three-bay extension designed in a similar style.
