Description
Skilcroft is a house dating from around 1600, with later additions from the 17th century and some 20th-century modifications. The building is timber framed, featuring curved braces on the left side and brick nogging. It has an old tile roof with a central ridge stack and two gabled semi-dormers that contain leaded 20th-century casements. The house has a lobby entrance style with two framed bays and is 1½ storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are three 20th-century leaded casements and a central 20th-century boarded door, which is set beneath a gabled porch located between the first and second windows from the left. There are also 20th-century brick and tile additions on the right side and at the rear of the house.
