Description

This is a mid-19th century (built between 1837 and 1849) terrace of houses in the Gothic style, facing east. Numbers 1A, 2, and 3 are three stories high, while numbers 4 and 5 are two stories high, with two windows in each property. The roofs are slate and have stucco ridge stacks. The exterior is stuccoed with a string course marking the first floor level. The windows are mullioned sashes with two lights, arched upper lights, glazing bars, and hoodmolds. The arched doorways feature ogee hoodmoulds, patterned fanlights, and panelled doors. Number 6 St Mary’s Place is part of this group.
