Description

This late 18th-century granary stands immediately to the north of the barn at Orpenham Farm. The granary has a timber-frame structure clad in weatherboarding, topped by a half-hipped tiled roof. Inside, it features four rows of staddles (supporting timbers), with some constructed of cast iron and others of stone. A central door is located on the north side. The building is included on the heritage listing for its contribution to the group value of the farm complex.
