WOOLHAMPTON UPPER WOOLHAMPTON SU 56 NE 3/15 Block Approximately 30 Metres To North- East Of Gatehouse At Douai School

GV II

Schoolbuilding. 1915, probably by Sebastian Pugin Powell. Red brick with stone dressings, angle buttresses, string courses at cill levels, continuous ground floor dripmoulding. Coped parapetted gable ends and tiled roof with 2 stacks. Free Tudor Gothic style. 2 storeys and garret. South front: 4 first floor 3-arched light windows; ground floor cross windows with arched upper lights and returned hoodmoulds. East front: triple lancets in gable end with drip- mould raised over central light, central first floor canopied niche with flank- ing 2-light windows and returned hoodmoulds, 3-light ground floor window with segmental arch and hoodmould.
