Description
Nos. 29 and 30 on Charnham Street are terraced cottages dating from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. They feature a thatched roof that is half hipped to the left, with ridge chimneys located one bay from the left and in the center. The cottages are constructed from painted brick with an exposed timber frame and brick infill on the end gable wall. They are two storeys high. On the left side, there are three irregular casements on the first floor, along with one vertical sliding sash window and a 20th-century shop window on the ground floor. The central section has a plain door, while the right side features two three-light leaded casements with iron frames and cambered heads on the ground floor.
