Description

The Loveling Tomb, located approximately 6 metres to the southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. James the Less, is a chest tomb dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and top, along with panelled sides and shaped corner balusters. The tomb bears a Latin inscription dedicated to Elizabeth Benjamini Loveling.
